A: 

Average: 1 ton covers approximately 100 s.f. @ ¾” to 1 ½” thick.

  1. 16 pallets @ 1.5 tons/3,000 lbs ea Exp: 16 x 1.5 x 100 = 2,400 s.f.
  2. 24 pallets @ 1.0 tons/2,000 lbs ea

Average: 1 ton covers approximately 90 s.f. @ 1 ½” to 2” thick.

  1. 13 pallets @ 2.0 tons/4,000 lbs ea
    Exp: 13 x 2.0 x 90 = 2,430 s.f.
  2. 18 pallets @ 1.5 tons/3,000 lbs ea
  3. 27 pallets @ 1.0 tons/2,000 lbs ea

A: 

Average: 1 ton covers approximately 180 s.f. @ ½” to1” thick.

  1. 9 pallets @ 1.5 tons/3,000 lbs ea Exp: 9 x 1.5 x 180 = 2,430 s.f.
   
Q:  How are your Beach Pebbles, River Rock and River Flats distributed?
A:  These are all distributed in 40 lb. bags.
   
Q:  What area would 1 bag or Beach Pebbles, River Rock and River Flats cover?
A: 

Average: 1 bag covers approximately 3 s.f. @ 2 stones deep (1” to 1 ¼” deep).

The bigger to pebble/rock; the smaller the coverage and vice versa - the smaller the pebble/rock; the larger the coverage.

This applies to stone, 2” to 2 ½” in diameter, and applies to our beach pebbles & river rock & flats.

One 40 lb. bag of Beach Pebbles, 3 ¼”to 3 ¾”, yields 2 ½ s.f. @ 2 stones deep (2” deep)

One 40 lb. bag of Mini Confetti or Chattahoochee, 1/8” to ½”, yields 4 s.f. @ 1 ½” to 2” deep

   
Q:  Do you also sell domestic bagged rock?
A:  No. However, we sell domestic river rock and other crushed rock by the semi-load;
between 18 – 25 tons per load.
   
Q:  How much rock would I need to cover area of about 20 feet by 30 feet?
A: 

Average: 1 c.y. covers 100 s.f. @ 2” deep

Exp: Area = Length (20ft) x Width (30ft)
Area = 600 s.f. You will need: 600 ÷ 100 = 6 cu. yds.
