Basalt

Yardco Rock & Stone’s Imported Basalt is a beautiful addition to any design. This dense material has a columnar structure formed from the rapid cooling of magnesium-rich and iron-rich lava exposed at or very near the surface of the earth. It has varying shades from gray to black and a rich dark brown crust where the lava first touched the earth’s surface.
